Gigantic enough to reach the price of $12 million at an auction conducted on October 9th, the diamond is expected to boost up its price to $20 million when cut. The 603 carat, approximately 120 gram diamond went under the hammer of the Antwerp Diamond Center and the South African Diamond Corporation, the owner of the Graff jewellery was the one that acquired the precious stone. One of the largest diamonds that has ever come to be found is planned to be cut in a big heart shape and the smaller stones left will be separately sold. The actual diamond size can be compared to a one and a half the size of a tennis ball, which is truly an extraordinary size for a diamond.
